The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the city center and all its attractions. The breakfast served was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable.

The rooms were quite outdated and in need of renovation. The bathroom had a musty smell and the furnishings seemed shabby.

the hotel itself was perfect but the courtyard rooms do need to be updated as furniture decrepid and not in good working order and lacked the cleanliness of the main hotel the staff were very helpful and polite and we couldnt ask for better.The food was excellent also the location was perfect for the city, park and ride was nearby and all bus stops . The courtyard itself was very pretty and well looked after

the courtyard room we stayed in too near kitchen and very noisy with the air venilators left on all night had to buy earplugs !!!!

Perfect location for walking around town with comfortable rooms and a friendly staff. the breakfast was tasty and served fresh. the parking facilities were great with cars.

The shower design was not ideal and could be difficult for taller individuals. the room could have used some rearranging as there was little space to move around with the amount of furniture provided.

Heworth Court served my purpose well. As I was on a motorcycling holiday the secure and easy parking was an excellent bonus. The rooms were clean and comfortable We really enjoyed are stay and will use this hotel when in York again

Really small gripes as I only stopped for a night and was otherwise happy in general • TV in the room was bleeding tiny! • Price was a bit steep to say it was located a few miles out of the city centre and wasn’t a major hotel sort of place • No shower curtain and the shower head was located quite low down on the wall (aesthetic pleasures)

The location of this quirky little establishment was perfect for exploring the nearby York City centre. We could easily walk or take a bus into the city, and there was even a large shopping centre in the opposite direction. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast served was delicious. the hotel had a convenient car park, making it easy for us to bring our bicycles.

The room we stayed in was in need of refurbishment and had some issues with the bathroom fixtures.

the warm and friendly staff with a 'can do' attidude,location close to city attractions,excellant local transport right outside the door. good food,comfortable bar lounge.

admittedly during a very cold spell,room was not as warm as we would have preferred,however beds were beautiful and comfortable.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is fantastic, as it is within walking distance of the city center. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure guests have a pleasant stay. The rooms are equipped with basic amenities, including free WiFi and a working iron. Plus, the breakfast served is delicious and filling.

Only improvement needed was the brightness of the lights in the room.

Even at such short notice we were able to have a ground floor room as my wife has problems with stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The room & ensuite were of good proportions and clean. Nice and warm inside too. In the morning, the food was served very quickly and very hot too. Nice peaceful atmosphere throughout. The city center is very close by, even on foot.

The car park is a bit on the tight size. Not much room for error. Another downside was that there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Some of the decor looked like it needed updating.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, all the staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful, and efficient. They made my stay truly enjoyable. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The hotel facilities were also impressive, especially the restaurant where I had delicious meals on multiple occasions. The whisky bar was a lovely bonus, with a huge selection of malt whiskies to choose from. Furthermore, the location of this hotel was convenient, as it was close to the city center and within walking distance of popular attractions.

Location was the best point about the hotel - convenient walk into York city centre. On-site car park a bonus, but very tight parking, when hotel full!

Bedroom 1 was very small. Loose wires connecting to a multitude of plugs were trailing all round the room. To reach the wardrobe one had to negotiate the hanging tv wires! Bed was most uncomfortable-being narrow and hard. Stairs narrow and steep.Breakfast good when milk not sour..
